The Rotarian - a new D-859 RNLI Lifeboat at Filey. Congratulations to all involved in making this happen  

Rotary in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire was very proud to the asked to name a new D-859 class Lifeboat for Filey, having raised £35,000 towards the cost. The lifeboat has been named The Rotarian. Rotarians from our Rotary International District 1040 were well represented at the Naming Ceremony and Service of Dedication in Filey on Saturday 14 May 2022.

The courage and "service above self" shown by the amazing lifeboat team was recognised with Rotary's highest award, a Paul Harris Award.
