Rotary, across large areas of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, reflect on bringing joy to our communities over the Christmas festive season in 2022

In November and December 2022, we have seen numerous Santa related events spring back into action after largely global pandemic related restrictions in 2020 and 2021.

With over 90 clubs in our Rotary International District 1040, consisting of large part of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, we have been delighted to bring smiles to the streets of our communities through roaming Santa Sleighs. There has also been numerous opportunities for the community to be active during our Santa Runs. In addition, we have benefitted from the wonderful cooperation of supermarkets and other organisations providing space for Santa visits. Finally, Rotary as a charity itself, has supported many other charities that are really important to local communities.
