Knaresborough Rotary Club’s Immediate Past President is at it again! Helen Westmancoat recently completed her 49th tandem skydive, this time in aid of RAF Charities, including the RAF Benevolent Fund, the Jonnie Egging Trust and the Lincoln Food bank. The special charity skydive was arranged by Skydive Hibaldstow as part of the RAF Scampton Family Day on August 6th, and £500 from Helen’s jump was donated equally to the 3 charities. Unfortunately, on the day the weather was somewhat cloudy and wet at times, but Helen’s jump was one of the few that did happen. Helen said “ It was a memorable experience parachuting in over RAF Scampton, and to be able to see the display by the Red Arrows for the event”.
Helen’s 50th skydive will be to raise funds for Martin House Children’s Hospice.
