Bingley Airedale Rotary support the COVID-19 battle in Pokhara, Nepal

Bingley Airedale Rotary have provided direct financial of £1250 support to the Rotary Club of Pokhara Fishtail in Nepal, to support the local hospital with purchasing items to help with their continuing fight against COVID-19.

Rotarian Binod Koirala reports that COVID-19 is again on the rise in Nepal which includes the area of Pokhara, a city on Phewa Lake, in central Nepal. It’s known as a gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a popular trail in the Himalayas. On the ground Rotarians report hospitals are full, and a local Rotary club has decided to use Bingley Airedale's funds for PPE and other items including an oxygen trolley, wheel chairs, surgical masks, N95 masks and facial shields.

Binod thanks Bingley Airedale for direct support which has an impact in the Infectious and Communicable Diseases Hospital. The photographs below provide evidence that Yorkshire Rotarians are People of Action.
